Overview
The document search feature allows an operator to select certain criteria to quickly find the documents and information they are looking for. We have tried to find every available document that is currently viewable on the internet, that is related to operating a small water supply. The easiest way to see how the search page works is to watch the short video below.
Highlights
We are really proud of the database we have developed here. There are documents from every TA provider, state agency, federal agency, and trade group that has a webpage with free access to their information. One thing we have learned in searching through the thousands of web pages we have come across is we know that there is no way an individual, already pressed for time, can ever find all the helpful documents out there. We have done the searching, provided a 2 or 3 sentence, easy to read, summary of the document, and provided a link back to the original document. We are providing "value-added" information to make it easier to find useful information. If you would like a copy of any of the documents you find here and because of connection speed can't download or print the document, we will do it for you. Just let us know what you need and we will work with you, either mailing a printed copy or a digital copy on CD.
Filter Criteria
There are several "filters" that allow you to make your search more specific. The filters are: category, type, state, and host. Category has about 20 entries that represent topics such as arsenic, asset management, consumer information, distribution, monitoring, certification, and treatment, to name a few. Type means document type, which are either CD/spreadsheet, forms/templates, manuals/handbooks, reports/factsheets, presentations, or webpage. State is pretty obvious, and host is the organization that developed the document.
